Jack Gavin – Bio

From the pure, innate musical talent and solid performance experience of touring and recording with world-renowned artists, comes a prized drummer in today's music industry. Jack Gavin.

Beginning in 1985 until 1999, Jack was best known for his high-energy performances as the drummer for the legendary Charlie Daniels Band. He became the band leader and drummer for Tracy Lawrence in 1999 and in 2003 Jack began a ten year career as tour manager, production manager, musical director and drummer for Tanya Tucker. Over the years, Jack has also performed with Mel McDaniel, Willie Nelson, Ted Nugent, Travis Tritt, John Kay of Steppenwolf, Collin Raye and Jamie O’Neal.

Jack's training in classical and jazz music during his early years provides him with great versatility and excellence when it comes to musical discipline and range of performance and genre. Included in that range is his experience performing as a percussionist not only for various philharmonic orchestras, symphonies and ensembles, but also for modern day rock and country artists. Currently, Jack is working with a new up and coming country artist, Erica Nicole, out of Nashville, TN. In addition to playing drums, he has taken his experience and expertise and
expanded into band management for new artists and paired with his knowledge and understanding of the industry, Jack is more than just a drummer.
